David Ash BDS - Partner  GDC 60583

I have been a Partner at Coronation Road Dental Surgery for 22 years and prior to that spent 5 years working in East Grinstead, Sussex.

I live near Cheddar and have four children whose ages range from 21 to 14. In my spare time I walk the dogs, play golf and ride my bike across the Somerset levels. I have a keen interest in our local football club and sports fields, spending a lot of time raising funds for their development and maintenance.

Dentistry is a very rewarding profession and I enjoy the relationships that I and our staff have with our patients. The trust and respect that we have is incredibly precious and makes turning up for work a pleasure.

We have invested heavily in technology and training over the years and as a consequence we are now saving teeth that would otherwise have been extracted.

I enjoy working under levels of magnification and the use of hard/soft tissue lasers which increases the precision of diagnoses and prescribing.

Maria Lopez'Casas BDS  GDC 82723

I qualified in Spain in 2000. After working in Spain for 4 years I decided to move to Bristol in 2004 because I wanted to gain experience of working in a completely different system and environment.

I was also interested in undertaking my Post Graduate studies abroad.

I have been practising at Coronation Road Dental Practice since 2004, where I have found a great team, a second family and very friendly patients.

I am especially interested in Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, and this is the reason why, after finishing my Postgraduate Dental Studies at the University of Bristol, I decided to join Warwick University’s Master of Science Course in Orthodontics and I am due to complete this in 2012.

I am particularly keen on treating children and the elderly.

Millie Baggot  GDC 5650

Monika Filipowicz  GDC 213251

I qualified as a dental hygienist in 2009 in Krakow, Poland. I have always wanted to move abroad in order to get more varied work experience and decided to move to Cardiff at the beginning of 2010.
I have been working in Coronation Road Dental Surgery since April 2012. I also work in other dental surgeries in Cardiff.
I am very dedicated to my professional development and constantly strive to improve my qualifications through taking various courses for Dental Hygienists.
Creating relationships with patients is also extremely important for me and  I always gladly give them my advice on how to take care their teeth and gums.
After work I like to read books, watch movies and love to spend my free time cooking Polish dishes for my friends (bigos and beetroot soup are my specialities). I also love travelling and try to organize a trip every time I have couple of days off, because there are so many beautiful places around the world I haven't seen yet!

Debbie Tanner

Debbie has worked at Coronation Road since 1979, initially as a surgery assistant then receptionist and now as Practice Manager.

Her role involves dealing with all administrative parts of the Practice, dealing with patient enquiries, the Care Quality Commission Policies, ensuring that we are compliant in all aspects, Staff employment and contracts and still finds time to work some sessions in reception.

Out of work, Debbie enjoys shopping for shoes and bags going to the gym and became a nanny in May 2013 for the first time.

Lisa Steel

I joined the practice at 18 and have been part of the ‘Coronation Road’ team for 16 years.

I started off as a Trainee Dental Nurse under the support and guidance of Ian James and David Ash, and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1999. I always wanted to further my knowledge and career so in 2001 I sat the Oral Health Educators course to use within the practice. I enjoyed the role as I was able to interact a lot more with patients. My current roles now include Assistant Practice Manager, Head Nurse and Implant Co-ordinator. I enjoy all these roles as it gives me a varied and interesting input to a “week at work at corrie Road” and keeps me focused, and busy in my chosen career.
